Maciej Miąsik – one of the pioneers of the Polish video game industry. Game designer, programmer, producer, sound designer. Co-creator of Electro Body, the first Polish commercial PC game. He worked on the first Polish game – Fire Fight – for electronic entertainment giant Electronic Arts. At the turn of the century, he created a series of adventure games with live actors that conquered markets on all continents. He was head of production for the first part of the Witcher series. He is currently involved in the development of smaller scale projects within the Pixel Crow studio, and is a member of the board of Movie Games S.A.. He is actively involved in industry education, and since 2012 has been teaching at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology and at the Warsaw Film School, in the Video Game Development course, which he co-founded. Member of the program boards of the most important national industry conferences – GIC and Digital Dragons. Long-time independent expert for the Executive Agency for Education, Culture and Audiovisual in Brussels. Actively involved in the Indie Games Poland Foundation.
