Kuba Jankowski is a lawyer who is lucky enough to combine a profession with his deep passion for gaming and culture. He has been working with the video game industry for six years now, five of which he has spent at CD PROJEKT RED.
As Senior Legal Counsel at CDPR, being a part of our Biz-IP Team, he works closely with the game development teams on things stretching from preparing and negotiating outsource and cooperation contracts, through creating internal guidelines and instructions, as well as conducting IP workshops, to being responsible for the IP clearance of in-game assets. He also has the privilege of cooperating with CDPR’s Business Development and Communications teams, focusing on legal aspects of cross-game licensing, music business and PR&media relations.
His previous obligations involved helping with all-things-legal concerning fighting IP infringements (including counterfeits), organizing events and interacting with the Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 community of gamers.
