He has been in the games industry for 25 years in different roles. He started as a level designer for the notorious German RPG Gothic. Since then, he has worked as an editor for gaming console magazines and as a level designer for different companies. For the past 15 years, he has been leading a user research team for Ubisoft Düsseldorf, which he built up from scratch, supporting about 50+ games with user research studies. His motivation is to find out how to make better games to make players happy.
