He is Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science at the Jagiellonian University. He is the head of the Master’s degree in Computer Games Informatics. In the past, he was head of the Game Technology Department and director of the European Academy of Games. His current research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality systems, real-time physics simulation, affective computing, and data analytics in systems such as video games. He has authored scientific publications in these areas and has participated in a number of research grants, including as a manager.
