Alex started his career as a strategic planner in advertising before transitioning to games over a decade ago. He has worked for publishers and studios ranging from indies to AAA – like Bethesda, Arkane, SEGA, Relic, and Hinterland – in a variety of roles covering community, marketing, and brand, all the way to biz dev. Throughout his career in the industry, Alex has had the privilege to support and learn from talented teams and individuals who helped usher groundbreaking experiences, such as Hardspace: Shipbreaker, The Long Dark, Dishonored, Homeworld, and Company of Heroes. Aside from his day job at BBI, his passion and enthusiasm for novel experiences and talented creators has led him to help independent studios in an advisory capacity – like Ever Curious Entertainment (Witherbloom) – but also to lend a hand with connecting talented developers for the recent iii-initiative.
