Matthew Datum serves as the General Manager of the Legal & IP Department at Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. in Tokyo, where he oversees both domestic and global legal strategies. With over a decade of experience at one of the world’s largest game publishers, Matt specializes in cross-border negotiation and legal compliance. He has spoken internationally on video game law and managing in-house legal departments in Japan, and is a board member of the Video Game Bar Association. An avid video game player, Matt’s passion for gaming provides him with a unique insight into the legal issues facing the industry.
